What
is the color of sea?
They
say that there is no such thing as a stupid question. Well ...
unless the person asking the question is stupid. Or, is it? How
would you tell apart a stupid question? Because it isn’t logical
or you don’t know a logical answer? That’s right, the story is
not about questions at all, the story is about answers.
It
is essential to realize that our inability to answer a question says
nothing about whether the question itself has an answer. Mistaking
no
answers in practice for
no answers in principle
is
a road to confusion and truthlessness in practice. Secondly, the
more important point is that there are questions for which must be
answers, where we know them or not. Crucial, existential questions.
