let's
moralize
Aren’t
you relieved when you read an email "darling, I love you, I can’t
live without you" and realize that it was sent to 27 different
addresses? Or "here is a photo for you" sent to 77
different addresses? And, how do you cope with all those blogs for
which there is no an IQ filter to be applied?
On
Internet, everyone can publish whatever he/she wants, no editor, no
consequences; eventually someone will apply a couple of stars or a
thumb up, hopefully, maybe. They call it information revolution,
democratization of publishing and similar popular science
terms but I call it the entropy of social connections. Worst,
it spills over non-internet communications - where was some order
till recently.
Look,
I purchese 24 gauge speaker wire from Trisonic (Flushing, NY
- but, of course, made in China) and the package comes with two
morals, printed on front and back of the package.
Front
moral:
ANGER
NEEDS TO BE CONTROLLED, BUT NOT HIDDEN FROM YOURSELF.
Back
moral:
HUMAN
AFFECTION IS THE FOUNDATION OF PROPER DEVELOPMENT.
Now,
first of all, why the people at Trisonic think they are
qualified to moralize? And how is that related to 24 gauge speaker
wire? Then, what is the meaning of the copyright notice printed
below each moral? Does copyright apply to control or hiding or both?
Does copyright apply to affection or development or both? If I buy
100 ft of wire instead of 50, would the morals be different?
I’m
confused a bit, you see. |
