goodbye summer Last Friday, September 23, at equinox, local festivity called ADIO LITO (goodbye summer) announced the end of the official tourist season. So, summer is up in smoke. Literally. And I don’t imply the big wild-fires on the Dalmatian islands, Brač included, but the numerous barbecues I’ve prepared this summer. Successfully, they say. Otherwise, things were just the way they were. It was close to average number of gardening failures - which shouldn’t make my mind worrying but the remaining years of my life are to few to forgive me big mistakes. Even if the summary of my summer activities makes not much to talk about, I've had a good time existing ... and life goes on. |
