sunrise, as seen from Grabov Rat       In the spring of 2010, probably because of my gardening activities and higher nature awareness in general, I paid more attention to Sun and Moon movement across the sky. It resulted in Sun and Moon data being included into 2011 calendar [CALENDAR]  and, more industriously, in the recording of sunrise times, as seen from Grabov Rat, throughout the summer of 2010. On the graph below, those times are compared with the sunrise times calculated for the Grabov Rat geographical position. Large discrepancies are expected because our eastern horizon (pictured as a background of the graph) is hugely obstructed with a rather steep downhill of the southern shore of the island of Brač: the more northern sunrise, the larger discrepancy.
