Not surprisingly, the distribution of visits is very uneven, most of the pages were not visited at all. The most visited page is the map of mediterranean climate areas (mv80, 4394 times), followed by the two maps of the Mediterranean basin (mv81, 1482 times, and mv82, 1163 times). So, the mediterranean pages carry 15.2% of all visits. The other subject which attracted above average attention is cold smoked sausages; the three related pages (cs00, cs01, and cd00) were visited 2126 times.

My weekly images and thoughts carry 20 to 30 visits every week, and I believe that they come from a bunch of regular viewers. To my delight, one of them became an evergreen: on Oct.30, 2005 I revealed my thoughts on the origin and meaning of number 0 (zero) and the page has steady interest ever since; in the year 2009 it was visited 555 times. Then, there’s another weekly ever- green which is not easy to explain: on Jun.24, 2007 I ridiculed the contents label on a cereal box, using an Andy Rooney’s quote; the page monthly visits are over 200 ever since, and in the year 2009 it was visited 3,957 times (!!), the runner-up of all my pages. In May alone, it was visited 566 times. If not for the Andy’s quote, what does it?
