Apparently,
camels and mules are not equally affected by smoking.

I’m
not a smoker. I tried smoking as a teenager to improve my ‘appearance’,
so I thought, but I found that price too high: simply, I did not
enjoy it.
I
never smoked cigarettes. There wasn’t anything virtuous about it,
I just never did. I tried them a few times but they made me cough
and made my mouth taste bad so I never smoked.
Those
of us who don’t smoke, don’t like to have smokers in the room
with us but I think the time has come for us to be more tolerant of
smokers. We’ve been awfully mean to them and they’ve got a
problem.
You
can see how people get hooked on smoking. We all like to do the
things we know how to do best and smokers get very familiar with all
the little moves they make with cigarettes. [...]
But
no matter how they smoke them ... COUGH ... no kidding ... you have
to remember that cigarette smokers are people, too. We all hope they’ll
stop but whether they stop or not, let’s all be nice to a
cigarette smoker today ... after all, we may not have them with us
for long. COUGH.
