I
could not make up my mind in this year's presidential election: during
the election campaign, both candidates convinced me that the
other one is not fit for the presidency.
We're
all agreed on two things about politicians and Presidential
elections. First, we agree that campaign for reelection starts too
soon after the last election is over. President [...] started
running again about 20 minutes after he was elected in [...]. They
all do.
The
second thing we agree on is that candidates spend too much money
trying to get elected. If you took all the money that all the
candidates spend, it would be enough to get a good start paying off
the National debt. The buying of the White House is a national
disgrace and it is not limited to either party.
